Lewis Carroll tribute

Before the Jabberwocky was dispatched by the vorpal blade among the borogroves by the Tumtum tree the knights came forth by two and by three. The Jubjub birds gabbled and stood and watched them enter the tulgey wood. Galumphing they went, Callooh, Callay! . a bandersnatch will soon end their day.

  3. While working on the painting I was thinking about the poem, imagining 3 knights minus vorpal blades searching for fame and fortune by hunting thr jabberwocky. I re-read the poem during the process and really enjoyed the language and references to the forest as borogroves and tulgy woods. It has always been a favorite poem, not to mention the movie by Terry Gilliam so I tried to give it little bit of the same silliness and atmosphere. Someday I will take a shot at the Jabberwocky himself. There are already some great images out there but there's room for at least 1 more. Thanks for the question!
