Creature Double Feature
Was there ever any better way to spend a rainy saturday than watching a creature double feature on tv? I don't think so. What could be better than watching the world be saved (or destroyed) by giant atomic insects, visitors from other worlds, or prehistoric creatures that somehow survived for millions of years in giant blocks of ice? It didn't matter how good or bad the production values were, they always had one thing going for them. Monsters. Here are a couple of quick creature concepts. I plan to make this a regular event.

How to take down a Giant, Part 2
If your town or village is having giant trouble here's a simple summer recipe.
1. Gather every able bodied member of your town or village. This is always the first step when preparing to deal with giant trouble.
2. Dig a giant pit, approximately 50' x 50' x 50' deep .
3. Add pointed sticks. . You need enough to line the bottom of the pit as well as enough to build a large walled compound around the pit.
4. Cover the pit with a thin layer of sticks, grass and dirt, just enough to conceal it's presence.
5. Assemble a squad of foolhardy volunteers to dress in bright colors, make lots of noise and wave flags to attract the giant. This will likely confuse the giant as no one ever tries to attract a giant. They are accustomed to the charms of a panicked, fleeing mob. If you want to take down more giants, don't be one of the foolhardy volunteers.
6. When the giant arrives, cover it with a generous portion of arrows. Not enough to smother it but enough to bring to a rolling boil. At this point the giant will not only be tenderized but will also be hungry enough to charge into the compound looking for a few morsels.
7. If you have followed the steps correctly you will now have a nice giant kabob at the bottom of the pit. Enjoy! If you did not follow the steps correctly, run away as fast as you can or risk becoming a giant kabob yourself.
Mmmm, that's good giant!
